The relationship between plasma cutting and plasma cutting dust collectors is closely intertwined. During the plasma cutting process, the high-energy plasma beam acts on the material surface, producing high temperatures that cause the material to evaporate and form a cutting gap. However, this process also generates a significant amount of smoke and harmful gases. These fumes not only pose health risks to operators but may also contaminate the working environment and affect the stable operation of the equipment. This is where the role of the plasma cutting dust extractor becomes particularly important.

Plasma Dust Collection System has three parts, the three parts complement each other to complete the purification treatment of plasma cutting fume.

Influence factors of Plasma Cutting Dust Collection

Plasma cutting dust collector is a systematic process, the machine body, pipestructure and the dust collectors all have certain influence on the dust collecting efficiency. It is very important to get suitable dust collection structure for plasma cutting machine. Only good dust collection efficiency can better play out the performance of fume extractor. Common plasma cutting  fume extraction body structure is shown in the following figure:

• Connection pipe between plasma machine and fume extraction system

• plasma fume extractor

For example, if you use soft pipe,  big power will buck the pipe.

How to mentain the plasma fume filters daily

When filter cartridge filters dust, the moisture contained in air and electrostatic of partial dust will make the dust cleaning of pulse blowing system incompletely, and the dust deposited on surface of filter cartridge will affect the use effect. Therefore, it's necessary to clean filter cartridge after using it for a certain period of time to ensure the purification effect of the equipment. There are steps of filter cartridge cleaning of plasma fume extractor:

• Make sure that the device is stopped, and the external power supply has been disconnected

• Wear a clean mask and dust-proof gloves

• Loosen and take down the pressed nuts of filter cartridge with a wrench

• Use compressed air spray gun to remove dust on surface of the cartridge filter.
