The Challenge: Welding Fumes in Large-Scale Production
For manufacturers like CRRC, whose operations include the assembly, repair, and riveting of large railway vehicle frames, airborne contaminants are a serious concern. The welding processes generate a significant amount of hazardous smoke and dust. Traditional extraction arms can be difficult to position effectively around massive, complex parts, and overhead crane operations can further complicate the installation of extensive ductwork. Unlike systems that exhaust air outside, this all-in-one unit draws contaminated air from the upper levels of the workshop, passes it through a high-efficiency multi-stage filtration system, and returns clean, purified air at a low velocity to the workspace. This creates a continuous cycle of air purification without the need for complex ducting, providing a flexible and highly effective solution.

This system constantly monitors the filter and uses powerful bursts of air to dislodge accumulated dust, maximizing filter lifespan and minimizing manual maintenance.
Quiet, Low-Velocity Air Return: The system is designed for the comfort and safety of the workforce. Integrated silencing and damping devices reduce operational noise and vibration. The purified air is discharged downwards through a manually adjustable shutter, with an air speed not exceeding 1 m/s within the work zone to prevent any disruption to welding operations.
